Sure Business appoints highly experienced Professional Services Director

Sure Business has appointed Joe McCusker as Group Professional Services and Product Director, adding a well-regarded ICT professional with vast global experience to its senior team. Joe will be overseeing the Professional Services and Product teams, comprising of a specialist team of consultants and engineers who will be servicing our customer needs across the Crown Dependencies.

Joe has over 30 years’ experience in high-level ICT and telecoms environments, leading teams on a global level. His portfolio includes major names in the ICT industry such as HP and Microsoft as well as prominent telecoms businesses in other territories such as BT and Digicel. He most recently served as Group IT Director for Ocorian in Jersey. Before this, he was Managing Director of a Hedge Fund and Banking managed service provider headquartered in New York and led Digicel’s global team as Group Managed Services Director, based in Jamaica.

Joe’s career has seen him lead teams spanning a variety of different cultures including the Caribbean, India and the UK. In addition to his extensive CV of work, he also holds a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership from the University of Ulster . Additionally, he achieved a prestigious MSP Award from MSP mentor  in 2014, demonstrating how managed services can reduce costs while improving quality and service..

As leader of the Professional Services and Product teams, Joe will be responsible for ensuring that two crucial elements of Sure Business’ service are maintained to a high standard: proper and timely implementation of existing solutions and research and development into new ones. As with everything Sure Business does, meeting the bespoke needs of clients will underpin Joe’s new role.
