Alistair Beak - Chief Executive Officer
Alistair joined Sure in June 2017 and became CEO in July 2021 having previously been in the positions of Chief Business Officer and having responsibility for the South Atlantic and Diego operations. Alistair’s extensive international telecoms experience had previously seen him in commercial roles at Vodafone in the UK, Czech Republic and Qatar, and then moving to Digicel in the Caribbean where he was Regional CEO of Bermuda, Cayman and Turks & Caicos.
Paul Acton – Chief Executive – Jersey
Paul heads up our Sure Jersey operation, with responsibility for setting our strategic direction, leading our local team, and meeting our customers’ requirements with the highest quality of service and support. Paul is also responsible for managing our suite of corporate products, relationships with world-class suppliers and team of professional services experts. He has more than 20 years’ experience in executive-level roles across blue-chip telecoms and IT companies.
Mike Phillips - Chief Executive - Isle of Man
Mike has over 20 years experience in telecommunications and IT across multiple business sectors including manufacturing, finance, ICT and telecommunications. Over the last decade he has played an active and leading role in developing the island’s telecommunication products and services. As Chief Executive of Sure Isle of Man he is responsible for the day to day management and operations of Sure on the island, which includes the development and execution of its business strategy as well as leading Sure’s talented team in the delivery of both local and international services and solutions to the island’s consumer and business communities.
Cyrille Joffre - Chief Operating Officer
Cyrille joined Sure in September 2013 to head up a newly merged division incorporating planning, operations and maintenance as we focus on making some major investments in network infrastructure to deliver the next generation of high speed voice, data and video services to meet the future needs of our customers. Cyrille has 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry which has seen him work across the Far East and Europe, most recently for Cable & Wireless Communications in Monaco.
Lucienne De La Mare - HR Director
Lucienne has responsibility for the development and implementation of people strategy to support Sure’s business plan. Her focus is to develop and inspire Sure’s skilled and enthusiastic staff members to ensure that the company continues to provide high quality customer service across the business. Lucienne has 15 years’ experience in HR, is MCIPD-qualified and holds a BSc in Psychology.
Chris Durnell - Legal & Regulatory Director
Chris leads the legal and regulatory strategy for Channel Islands and Isle of Man, ensuring it helps the business achieve its commercial objectives. She has extensive experience in telecoms regulation and competition policy, having worked for the UK telecoms regulator Oftel (the predecessor of Ofcom) as well as for international telecoms firms in the Caribbean and London. Chris holds a BSc and MSc in economics and a diploma in competition law.
Tracy Kirby - Head of Customer Services
Tracy is an expert in all things customer service, with over 20 years’ experience in customer service roles within the telecoms industry. She has been at Sure since 2017 and as Head of Customer Service she is responsible for providing the best possible experience for Sure’s valued customers, placing their needs at the heart of what we do. Tracy is passionate about the role employees play in the customer experience and places great store in developing and coaching Sure’s frontline teams. Tracy has completed the CMI leadership and management level 7, became a chartered manager in 2014, and gained an MBA in 2015.
