Free fibre upgrade for all users during COVID-19
Following discussions with Digital Jersey and the Government of Jersey, telecom operators in the island have agreed that all fibre broadband connections will be increased to a symmetrical 1 Gbit/s at no extra cost.

Sure continues to review its BCM and contingency plans with respect to the COVID-19 outbreak and is confident that the coronavirus should not have an impact on the continuing provision of ongoing telecommunications services. To this end Sure has taken a number of pre-emptive actions:

The NatWest International Island Games will be returning to Guernsey 3-9 July 2021, and the Organising Committee has recently appointed Sure as their Technology Partner following a tender process.
